Our client, a renowned national culinary arts institution based in Austin, TX, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Director of Admissions. This role will be instrumental in leading the admissions process and shaping the future of the institution. Our client is looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in higher education admissions, sales, marketing and recruitment, coupled with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.Director of Admissions Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive admissions strategies to attract and enroll qualified candidates in alignment with the institution's goals and objectivesManage and mentor 6+ admissions staff, providing guidance, training and support to ensure their success in meeting enrollment targetsCollaboration with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns and promotional materials to attract prospective students will be a key responsibility. Utilize sales techniques to effectively communicate the value proposition of our client's programsOrganize and participate in recruitment events, including open houses, campus tours and off-site presentations, to engage with potential students and promote our client's programsOversee the admissions process, including the review of applications, transcripts and other relevant documents to assess candidate suitability for admissionCultivating and maintaining relationships with prospective students, parents, guidance counselors and other stakeholders to address inquiries, provide guidance and facilitate a positive admissions experience will be essentialAnalyze admissions data and trends to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making related to recruitment strategies and enrollment goalsEnsuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and accreditation standards governing admissions processes and practices is a crucial aspect of the roleDirector of Admissions Requirements:Bachelor's degree requiredThe ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience overseeing admissions in the higher education spaceA proven track record of success in sales, marketing and recruitment is necessaryStrong leadership and people management skills are essentialExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities are requiredAbility to work on-site 5 days per week in Austin, TX
