We are currently seeking a dynamic and seasoned Director of Account Management to lead our QRP account management team. The ideal candidate will blend hands-on involvement with strategic vision, possessing a sales-oriented demeanor and a proven history of nurturing client relationships and fostering revenue growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a dedicated team, craft and execute strategic account plans, and spearhead business development endeavors to expand our client portfolio.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and mentorship to the account management team, fostering growth and development.
Formulate and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction.
Foster robust relationships with key clients, understanding their unique requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
Lead business development initiatives to identify and pursue growth opportunities within the insurance industry.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business objectives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to monitor progress against targets and drive continuous improvement.
Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to bolster our brand presence and showcase our offerings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
7+ years of experience in account management or sales within the insurance industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Demonstrated experience in the insurance sector, working with carriers and/or agencies.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and surpassing sales targets in a competitive market.
Strong leadership and management acumen, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with a focus on results and problem-solving abilities.
Deep understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes, and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 USD to $160,000 USD annually, with potential for performance bonuses, commissions, and equity in the form of restricted stock units. Our comprehensive benefits package includes healthcare benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and additional tax-reportable benefits.
Flexibility
Occasional travel may be required for this role to attend meetings, conferences, or training sessions, as well as to collaborate with team members or partners in various locations. While travel requirements may vary, candidates should be prepared to engage in occasional travel as needed to support business objectives and foster professional relationships.
