Position Summary:

In this role, you'll lead efforts to ensure efficient grant fund utilization and strict compliance with regulatory standards, all while addressing Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) risks. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Vision:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for grants compliance and monitoring services.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align grant management practices with organizational objectives and client needs.
Grant Compliance Oversight and Financial Expertise:
- Lead a team of compliance specialists to monitor grant usage across various programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including HUD guidelines.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and optimize fund allocation.
Risk Mitigation and Quality Assurance:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to grant management.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold compliance excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building:
- Engage with government agencies, nonprofit partners, and funding organizations to foster collaboration and successful grant outcomes.
- Represent our organization as a trusted advisor in industry forums and conferences.
Business Development and Pipeline Management:
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with the business development team to expand our client base.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects.
SLED (State, Local, and Education) Experience:
- Demonstrate expertise in SLED grant programs and compliance requirements.
- Navigate working with government entities at the state and local levels.
Corporate Compliance:
- Complete all required training and adhere to corporate compliance standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and pipeline development.
- In-depth knowledge of federal grant regulations and housing programs.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in developing client proposals and RFP responses.
- Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional work environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- Consulting experience with a top-tier Accounting/Professional Services firm.
- 5+ years in federal, state, or local program/project management, with a focus on HUD CDBG, CDBG-DR, CDBG-MIT, or other federally-funded grants compliance and monitoring experience.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred.
