Responsibilities
• Support internal and external communication for Target's executive leadership team• Lead strategic-positioning process for supported leaders• Vet speaking opportunities and provide recommendations• Participate in strategy and agenda-setting for team meetings• Write various communications for leader's point of view• Provide real-time communications counsel and coaching• Manage freelance support• Participate in team talent development routines• Maintain a positive team culture• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• College degree or equivalent experience• Minimum of 10 years of relevant communications experience• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience• Deep expertise in speech writing and persuasive storytelling• Experience providing direct support to C-level executives or elected officials• Expert at managing projects across complex organizations• Ability to manage ambiguity and resolve conflict• Up to 25% travel
