Director Engagement & Events

We're seeking a Director of Engagement & Events to lead the charge in connecting alumni and donors with our esteemed school. In this dynamic role, you'll be the architect of a thriving engagement program, fostering lifelong connections and propelling our advancement efforts.
What You'll Do:
Shape the future: Develop and execute a strategic engagement program, leveraging best practices to cultivate strong alumni and donor relationships.
Be the bridge: Create a vibrant alumni presence, both on campus and in key markets, ensuring alumni feel connected and valued.
Personalized approach: Craft unique engagement plans for alumni groups, fostering a sense of belonging and supporting fundraising goals.
Lead with expertise: Guide your team in delivering high-caliber events and programs that resonate with our alumni community.
Collaboration is key: Work hand-in-hand with faculty, staff, and alumni volunteers to deliver impactful experiences.
You're a great fit if you have:
A bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 5+ years of experience in alumni engagement, development, or related fields.
A passion for higher education and a deep understanding of academic fundraising.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
Proven project management and organizational skills to juggle multiple initiatives.
Experience managing budgets and motivating teams.
The ability to inspire and engage alumni, students, and university partners.
Bonus points for:
Experience in a higher education setting.
Hospitality and business management knowledge.
Public speaking experience to present to diverse audiences.
