Title: Director, Employee Communications - 106786 Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Director, Employee Communications  for John Deere  World Headquarters  located in Moline, IL , you will have the following responsibilities:
Optimize employee morale by engaging employees in the vision and strategy of John Deere Ensure awareness and understanding of business and people strategies through effective two-way communications and enable leaders and mangers to communicate effectively. Establish governance standards and guidelines for global employee communications. Lead development and communication planning process for major enterprise communication and change management initiatives. Serve as Global Brand and Communications Chief of Staff including directing the enterprise Brand and Communications strategic planning process. In partnership with Labor Relations, oversee communication strategy in support of production workforce and labor negotiations. Lead the development and ongoing implementation of the enterprise communications talent council, communications learning college, and lead enterprise communications learning & develop curriculum and programming. Lead regional communication team(s) and works with regional leaders and functional areas on developing communication strategies. VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position. What Skills You Need Communication skills (5 or more years) – exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting and delivering effective internal communications messages Strategic planning – ability to develop and implement internal communication strategies aligned with the company's objectives Change management (5 or more years) – proficiency in managing communications during times of organizational change Employee engagement – knowledge of best practices for engaging and motivating employees through communications Familiarity with a range of digital communication tools and platforms Measurement & analytics – understand communication metrics and ability to evaluate communication effectiveness Stakeholder management – leadership skills in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including senior leadership Experience managing complex communications projects Knowledge of industry trends Ability to collaborate with all functions across the company Financial management & budget – ability to create and manage a budget Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25% What Makes You Stand Out Campaign management (5 or more years) – demonstrated track record of launching a communication or marketing campaign Experience managing people or leading teams Experience developing a communications dashboard to measure effectiveness of communication initiatives Education Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
