Position Overview:
Cultivates a culture of inclusion by leading, implementing, and developing workforce diversity & inclusion strategies and programs aligned with the business goals. Will embody the spirit of diversity and inclusion and educates and inspires employees towards a culture of respecting / valuing differences. Provides consultation in designing and collaborating to integrate diversity and equity practices, ensuring initiatives and resources are effectively leveraged to drive business results and to assure diversity values are integrated into the day-to-day activities. Partners to ensure integration, impact, visibility, and sustainability of initiatives as well as managing the day-to-day administration of various projects. This position will oversee all inclusion and diversity programs and initiatives, diversity metrics, insights, surveys, internal and external customer consultation, building inclusion and diversity capability internally and with any associated business partners.

Job Description :
The person hired for this role will work out of the Sacramento office and support one of the following markets - Greater Sacramento or Greater Central Valley Market.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's: Organizational Development/Behavior, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
7 years recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of diversity and inclusion issues and best practices.

Understanding of labor market trends and issues, and how it relates to workforce diversity and affect recruitment efforts.

Demonstrated awareness of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) law, and applicable laws and requirements relating to civil rights and unlawful discrimination.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate and engage team.

Demonstrates a personal and professional presence when interacting with executives, management leaders, and community and external organization leaders.

Ability to understand the business and culture, and to effectively manage or lead change.

Ability to recognize, analyze and synthesize issues, and formulate breakthrough strategies for improvement.

Ability to manage projects, develop plan to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.

Ability to bring individuals together to resolve differences and/or to achieve acceptance of a solution.

Ability to influence others by persuasion, negotiation, and problem solving, and to move others to recognize and appreciate different points of view and to consider/accept alternative options.

Collaborative working style to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various project participants and/or stakeholders.

Ability to establish trust and credibility, and to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of role's duties while respecting cultural and linguistic differences and fostering an inclusive work environment.

Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the role's duties and responsibilities.

Pay Range is $73.24 to $117.19 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
