JOB SUMMARY The Director, DevSecOps & Automation will be the Technical Product Owner responsible for the engineering design, delivery, and operations to deploy and scale solutions for Secure Cloud Infrastructure provisioning, Service Mesh, and CI/CD pipelines. This person will work with key stakeholders to define the architecture, roadmap, and go to market plan. Orchestrates processes across teams and transforms how work is done through driving agile automation deliverables. Supported by a team of engineers, the ideal candidate has been the owner for platform-as-a-service products and is skilled in setting the direction of a team and breaking delivery into workable components.

CANDIDATE PROFILE Required: + Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience/certification
+ 8+ years of progressive technology experience with a blend of technical knowledge and a customer-focused mindset including:
+ Experience in leading the delivery of DevSecOps products, including Service Mesh and Secure Infrastructure Automation
+ Experience in the rollout of Service Mesh technologies such as Istio or Consul Connect
+ Experience in the rollout of CI/CD technologies, such as Harness and Jenkins
+ Expertise in Terraform in secure Infrastructure provisioning
+ Excellent technical knowledge of current & emerging infrastructure systems & standards
+ Ability to create constructive relationships, influence, and communicate (to product team, engineering management, and non-technical staff)
+ Ability to manage / drive change across multiple products within DevSecOps
+ Delivery focused with experience in Kanban and/or Agile
Preferred: + Graduate Degree in a technical discipline
+ 2+ years' experience with Kubernetes solutions; deployment, management, and orchestration across multi-cloud environments with an emphasis on networking and service mesh
+ Experience with design elements such as overlay network in Kubernetes
+ Experience with rolling out and managing Kubernetes based service mesh solutions
+ Experience deploying federated service mesh across Kubernetes clusters
+ Experience with advanced networking topics within and surrounding Kubernetes
+ 2+ years' experience with Infrastructure automation solutions; deployment, management, and orchestration across multi-cloud environments using Terraform
+ 3+ years of technology leadership experience where you served as a technical product owner or program manager:
+ Experience driving a product from the concept phase through maturity
+ Experience with evangelizing a product driving widescale adoption
+ Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES + Serve as the Technical Product Owner for DevSecOps products, including Service Mesh solution and Secure Infrastructure Automation providing technical guidance, ownership, and driving products.
+ Create the vision and product roadmap for DevSecOps products.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as software engineers, system administrators, security teams, leadership, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and design to promote a smooth delivery.
+ Develop the roadmap and the Go to Market plan while defining how support, training, internal marketing, and accessibility will be handled.
+ Work with stakeholders to define operational metrics and observability for the DevSecOps products
+ Work with stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver a Service Mesh and Secure Infrastructure automation solutions
+ Maintain in-depth documentation of activities and system configuration.
+ Obtain market data and competitive intelligence to inform our D&O strategy. Maintain industry knowledge and enhance subject matter expertise, identify trends and changes in technology and automation strategies.
+ Develops and communicates a point of view on complex technical topics. Aligns multiple domains, both technical and non-technical, on this common vision.
+ Creates and articulates an innovative and compelling value proposition so that MI executives clearly realize the benefits and transformational value of DevSecOps products
Managing Projects and Priorities + Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work for self and any direct reports.
+ Provides direction and assistance to other teams regarding projects. Helps determine priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule.
+ Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
+ Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute and implement new plans or programs. Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
+ Provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of processes or programs.
Financial Management + Responsible for participating in budget and other financial management activities.
Managing and Conducting Human Resources Activities + Interviews talent and fosters a modern engineering culture.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550.00 to $245,238.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550.00 to $222,943.00 annually.
Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $133,766.00 to $245,238.00 annually.
New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550.00 to $245,238.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550.00 to $245,238.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
