Responsibilities This is a remote position and may require up to 25% travel.
The System Director of Clinical-Supply Integration leads clinical integration and supply chain sourcing efforts. This position is integral to driving contract compliance, optimizing cost savings, fostering strong relationships with clinical stakeholders, and standardizing care behavior across our organization to enhance patient care.
The System Director of Clinical-Supply Integration is responsible for the vision, strategy and overall integration of clinical subject matter experts with Supply & Service Resource Management (SSRM) Sourcing. Leads a team of staff to develop, coordinate and manage a variety of clinical supply integration teams. This position plays a pivotal role in guiding the strategic advancement of healthcare supply chain processes, advocating for the implementation of innovative technologies and best practices that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the uninterrupted flow of essential medical supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities Develops and drives the overall strategy of SSRM clinical initiatives with national service line leaders and subject matter experts (e.g., surgeons, nurses, executive leaders) Collaborates with Sourcing Category Directors for surgery, nursing, cardiovascular, and orthopedics/spine to facilitate clinician and physician led multidisciplinary teams focused on informed business decisions that preserve quality, safety and patient satisfaction while optimizing supply chain spend Supports Clinical-Supply Integration Program from identification of clinical stakeholder participants, confirmation of any conflicts of interest, coordination, preparation, and facilitation of clinical supply integration meetings Acts as a change leader – ensures timely communication effectively cascades to necessary recipients; connection point to integrate SSRM sourcing, finance, and operations teams with CommonSpirit leaders and suppliers Develops and maintains relationships and trust with CommonSpirit clinical leaders ensuring they are aware of the clinical supply integration model, level of participation from their nominated clinical representatives, and opportunities for improvement Collaborates with SSRM Analytics and Category teams to monitor and drive contract compliance, physician product utilization, and new product reporting Provides supervision, management and business direction to clinical supply integration support team Demonstrates knowledge of the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, including industry trends and technological advancements Proactively engages with industry thought leaders, participates in relevant conferences, and contributes to professional networks to gather insights and foster a culture of continuous learning Qualifications A bachelor's degree is required; Master's Degree strongly preferred Minimum of seven (7) years of supply chain experience with evidence of progressive, increasing responsibility, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership level experience and demonstrated success mentoring and developing key subordinates Minimum of five (5) years patient care experience Registered Nurse or other medical licensure required Demonstrated Project Management experience and the ability to prioritize and manage highly sensitive competing projects  Strong clinical acumen and analytical mindset Excellent written and oral communication Strong ability to form effective working relationship with a variety of stakeholders (e.g., administrative, clinical, finance, vendors) Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity (i.e., ability to work autonomously while making decisions based on information provided) Experience with and literate in supply chain computer applications, Microsoft Office or Google applications and user knowledge of each to achieve Supply Chain goals #LI-Remote
