Position Summary:
Join our dynamic and collaborative team as a Director of Clinical Supply Chain Management! In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless execution of our clinical studies. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Product Development and Manufacturing, you'll lead the planning, packaging, distribution, and materials management processes essential to our success. We're looking for someone detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adept at guiding a team towards achieving clinical study objectives.
Responsibilities:
Ensure continuous supply of labeled finished IMP to depots and clinical sites for global clinical studies
Oversee distribution and logistics including storage, import/export, drug return, reconciliation, destruction, and depot management
Own the clinical supply plan and collaborate with internal teams to manage manufacturing schedules, inventory, labeling/packaging operations, and distribution logistics
Cultivate strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment
Establish robust systems and processes to enable operational and logistical tasks in compliance with industry standards
Manage forecast and clinical supply chain budget effectively
Mentor and collaborate with team members to drive efficiencies
Serve as an expert on import/export aspects and manage global materials logistics
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience with at least 5 years of leadership experience
Experience in a global, complex supply chain organization within the biopharma industry
Familiarity with biologics and cold chain clinical supply chain
Strong understanding of global pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, planning models, and ERP systems
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, budgets, and timelines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners
High attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing environments
Willingness to travel up to 20%
