We are seeking a Director, Capture and Growth Enablement , to join our team in Herndon, VA . This individual will interface with the key members of the corporate team to participate in the growth of our Technology and Engineering capabilities, to deliver winning proposals focused on FEDCIV, Healthcare, and NATSEC sectors. In addition, this role will be responsible for creating and engaging physical/digital materials, managing social media accounts across various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter etc.) as well as promoting brand awareness through carefully crafted, opportunity based targeted marketing campaigns, while adopting social media usage best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Growth/Capture & Business Development Support the Growth team in performing pipeline analysis to delivery deep insights into existing and upcoming opportunities and/or white space customer domains. Provide Support in developing and implementing comprehensive capture strategies to secure new business opportunities and expand market share. Support cross-functional teams in the execution of capture plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities for expansion, and competitive threats. Collaborate and provide input to define growth-focused goals and metrics; monitor performance and adjust strategies as necessary. Work cooperatively across departments with Contracts, Finance, Operations and Marketing. Provide guidance for technical responses to RFI/RFP/RFQ's. Technology Solutioning Leverage domain expertise, develop comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and provide support to the CTO to develop a complete and highest-rated technical solution. Participate in development of solutions and proposals to unusually complex problems which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation to craft unique solutions to respond to customer challenges. Support and in some instances lead the development of the Technical Solution including our Approach, Graphics, and Roadmap with differentiated strengths, tailoring Unissant's capabilities to the customer problem set. Collaborate with subject/technical matter experts, functional leads, and Program Managers with an ability to translate technical information into compelling proposal content. Marketing & Communications Promote the company and the leadership team in identifying speaking opportunities at conferences and other events. Utilize social media and online marketing strategies to build a strong online brand. Work with Senior BD/Operations and Technology folks to analyze bid pipelines to align, develop and execute growth/customer/technology focused targeted marketing campaigns . Develop and maintain marketing campaigns that aid lead generation and capture. Assist in collating and drafting content for monthly newsletters. Meet with the technology and growth leaders regularly to work with them on campaign planning, upcoming announcements, and content creation. Work with Operations and Technology teams to create/amend/or enhance past performance, develop white papers and/or customer case study write-ups. Work alongside the Technology Team to coordinate, create and administer the company's webinar program. This includes managing the workflow and scheduling from concept to completion, communicating requirements and coordinating activities of featured speakers, working with the social media manager review and publish webinar recordings. Support the CTO in maintaining a library or assets (presentations, capability statements, digital sheets, one-pagers, information sheets etc.) used by the Technology/Operations and Growth teams towards customer presentations. Represent the company at industry and government events as needed. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and an internal employee engagement plan, promote and raise brand awareness. Support content modernization of the Unissant's website (currently underway), pitch ideas and ghostwrite content for subject matter experts, copyedit pre-written content submissions, assist in managing content creation priorities with tech writers, work with internal/external parties for brand awareness content creation, publish finalized content (white papers, white videos, blogs, articles etc.) on the corporate website/blog/vlog. Corporate Stewardship Work cooperatively across departments with Operations, Contracts, Growth, Finance and Marketing as needed. Participate in meetings, as required, with the Corporate Leadership Team to present customer experience strategy ideas and customer engagement. Participate in companies Quality efforts including CMMI and ISO processes. Work Experience: Must have at least 15 years of experience in delivering innovative solutions for the Federal Government, preferably in the National Security or Healthcare industry. Demonstrated expertise providing innovative digital solutions both on premises and on cloud. Proven and strong experience in federal business development, capture, operations management, pipeline development/management, market development, capture management, and/or proposal development for public and private/nonprofit sector clients. Experience transitioning solution into written/oral proposal. 7-10 years' experience in Digital Marketing and Communications, preferably targeted marketing for proposals. Job Skills Enthusiastic, proactive, positive attitude with great listening skills and high integrity. Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage programs supporting multiple businesses. Ability to think and act strategically and proactively. Strong writing and presentation skills. Excellent critical thinking, win-strategy development, problem solving, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. Understands how to craft a compelling, compliant, comprehensive Tech Prop independently and as part of a team. Able to work under pressure (at times) and to be extremely flexible under changing priorities. Ability to build and work within high performance teams in a matrix-management environment. Education Bachelor's Degree or 5 plus years of growth-oriented and sales work experience is required in a related field or role. Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written skills, including strong presentation skills. Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at all levels of organization. Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner. Ability to collaborate effectively across all divisions within the company, focusing on driving a positive corporate culture. Travel Willing to travel occasionally as needed (up to 25%). Environmental Requirements : Mainly sedentary; in an office environment. May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds. Flexible in working extended hours.
