Opportunity: Head of Market Risk Analytics
We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Market Risk Analytics to join our dynamic team. Our Capital Markets division has experienced significant growth, becoming a cornerstone of our strategic vision. To ensure our risk management infrastructure aligns with this growth trajectory, we are enhancing our risk team with an independent focus on market risk analytics.
Role Overview:
As the Market Risk Analytics Director, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our quantitative market risk management framework. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing analytical tools to support current business activities and future strategic plans.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Market Risk Rule (MRR), FRTB, and Basel III Endgame.
- Managing quantitative analytics for Counterparty Credit Risk, including CVA measurement.
- Collaborating with front-line trading desks to ensure effective front-office analytics.
- Establishing and enhancing market risk and counterparty credit risk analytics and control framework.
- Managing a small team and overseeing the development of risk analytics and processes.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Masters or higher) in a quantitative field.
- 10-15+ years of experience in financial services with leadership experience in market risk.
- Strong knowledge of market risk and counterparty credit risk.
- Experience with Sales & Trading activities, including derivatives and hedging.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:
