Responsibilities JOIN OUR TEAM! Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as the Director of Business Office. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Business Office Manager is a key member of the finance and supervisory team. They will be responsible for managing the daily operations of inpatient and outpatient business office functions. This individual will need to integrate with other members of the finance team to ensure proper presentation of the financial condition of the facility.
ABOUT SPRING MOUNTAIN TREATMENT CENTER: Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24-hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs. 
Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs. We provide a caring and healthy environment that gives individuals a chance to make positive changes.

Qualifications REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required, with three to five years' experience in health care business office required. Monitor and report on key metrics such as cash collections, days outstanding, unbilled, denials, daily census, etc. in conjunction with the CFO. Lead and provide operational directives for all business office activities related to claims management and collections of the facility receivables and ensures timely, efficient cash collections to support the overall financial goals of the facility. Maintain effective communication with third party insurance carriers to resolve issues that impede cash flow and detract from patient/member satisfaction. Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation. Hold weekly accounts receivables meetings with CFO, Utilization Review, CEO, and other leadership as necessary to review key metrics of the department. Review all statistical reports to monitor trends, determine operational deficiencies and implement corrective action plans as necessary. Ensure accurate and timely submission of all month end and corporate reports as assigned. Demonstrates exceptional customer service, in every level of service provided by placing the patient first. Ideal candidates will have experience with all payer types, including Self-pay, Commercial, Workman's Compensation, Medicare, and TPL. Proven knowledge of billing and collecting; Knowledge of ICD 9, CPT, and DRG codes required.
