What does a Dining Room Manager at Sagora do? Interview, select, and train new culinary associates in conjunction with the Culinary DirectorSchedule serversMaintain the flow of service from the kitchen to the dining room to ensure all residents receive their preferences in both food and beverages timelyAlways keep the dining room clean and service readyDeep clean kitchen on a monthly basisManagement and supervision of all service associates assigned to dining roomExecution of catering responsibilities as assigned by supervisorAssist with management of alcohol service in accordance with state and federal regulations and Sagora Senior Living policiesManagement of all sanitation and safety functions and responsibilitiesMaintain proper personal appearance and hygiene according to established procedures for all food and beverage associatesAssist with any records, reports, and paperwork as assignedDevelop and maintain good working relationships with associatesLearn all departmental systems and serve as a relief backup operator for these systems as neededWhat do you need to be a Dining Room Manager? High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred (Hospitality Management desired)3 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry or equivalent educational and experience combinationMust have a current Food Handler's permitAbility to work all shifts and cover for shift openings that occurOrganization skills with ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with
