The Digital Tech is responsible for all aspects of photo and video shoots relating to the creation, capture, processing and delivery of digital visual assets for eCommerce, and is an integral part in ensuring a successful digital photo and video shoot. The ideal candidate will have experience in on set ecommerce tech workflows, and have an understanding of photography and video best practices. 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work independently and directly with clients and other artists on set to collaborate and create elevated imagery and technically qualified digital images and videos for use in a range of media. Utilize professional hardware and software systems to capture, evaluate, embellish and design unique capture settings to execute against creative guidelines. Research hardware and software applications to recommend enhancements and new technology and equipment options relating to digital photo and video shoots. Test, pack, deliver, set up and calibrate equipment for photo and video shoots, including cameras, backs, interface and network cabling, production computers, color accurate HD monitors, professional camera software, networking, color management, and other related professional equipment and software. Recommend, create, and maintain an efficient and secure workflow based on individual client conditions and needs and related best practices. Manage capture, edit, process, back up and deliver digital images and videos on set. Help crop images to client specs as needed throughout the post production workflow. Troubleshoot cameras, digital backs, systems, software and related hardware and software on set to ensure 100% uptime during shoot. Immediately flag any workflow issues to production.  Ensure images are creatively and technically accurate and high quality including color, saturation, focus and sharpness - strong on set presence to flag any issues to Photographer and Art Director in the moment. Perform color edits as needed on set. Develop positive photographer/crew/client relationships with a high service level. Transfer files to hard drives, backup drives, local servers, FTP sites as needed. Requirements 2-4 years of professional experience. BA in photography or directly related curriculum. Experience with all major digital camera systems and manufacturers including DSLR and medium format, including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Phase One, Hasselblad. Experience in technical lighting and photography with all major lighting systems (including Profoto). Expert knowledge of all capture software including Capture One 9.x, 10.x and Lightroom. Capture One 22, 23, and Adobe Lightroom. Expert knowledge of Adobe CS Suite (including Photoshop and InDesign). Expert Knowledge of Adobe CC Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign with a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere. Expert knowledge of professional Macintosh computers and peripherals including OS X 10+, MacPro, MacBook Pro, and iPad. Working knowledge of support applications including: FTP Adobe Bridge, MS Office, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat. Google Docs, and Google Sheets. GlobalEdit experience a strong plus. Experience working with servers and raid technology. Ecommerce photo shoot experience in a high volume, detail oriented production environment. On-set experience working with top photographers. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must pass the color test. Ability to manage workload and set priorities. Ability to manage similar but often different workflows for various clients.  Benefits The anticipated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
