The Runner Services team is the information source for our runners, serving for a conduit of information and an advocate for NYRR's runner-first philosophy both online and at the NYRR RUNCENTER. Our NYRR RUNCENTER also offers programming and serves as a hub of resources for our runners year-round.NYRR's Charity Programs include more than 500 Official Charity Partners whose runners raise over $40 million annually.?NYRR's ITO Program operates in 100+ countries, and across six continents, and brings more than 15,000 international runners across the finish line at the TCS NYC Marathon.About the PositionAs a Digital Products Specialist, you'll lead NYRR's digital communities, including the NYRR, TCS NYC Marathon, and RBC Brooklyn Half Strava Clubs. This role involves crafting engaging content, integrating Strava features, and monitoring metrics to track progress. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be key to align digital products with NYRR's strategy. You'll also contribute to shaping the digital product strategy and roadmap alongside the Digital Products team.Job Responsibilities(primary and secondary duties):Manage, engage with, and grow current and future NYRR digital communities, including the NYRR (258K members), TCS NYC Marathon (26K+) and RBC Brooklyn Half Strava ClubsIdeate, create, and share relevant, engaging, and strategic content with each community, leveraging current Strava features (e.g. events, routes) as well as future featuresPartner with internal and external teams to help bring Strava features to NYRR audience (e.g. Strava interactive race routes on NYRR website)Monitor and report on key metrics to track digital products and communities progressCollaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to keep digital products in line with NYRR's wider strategyPartner with Digital Products team on digital product strategy and roadmapJob Requirements:Experience:3 years of relevant work experienceSocial media; content strategy & creationEducation & Certifications:Bachelor's Degree PreferredSkills and Attributes:Empathy toward the global running communityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working collaborativelyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)Exposure to fitness tracking apps (e.g. Strava)Passionate about NYRR's mission and the running spaceSalary: $30.00/HourNYRR requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
