POSITION SUMMARY: As our Digital Designer , you will work collaboratively with our internal Creative, Digital, and Category Teams to conceptualize, design, and execute dynamic graphics and multimedia campaigns. You will be charged with producing visually stunning and strategically aligned creative assets for a variety of platforms, including digital and social media. Your contributions will be key in exceeding stakeholder expectations and pushing the creative boundaries in line with the briefs provided.
Essential Job Functions: Craft visual narratives that enhance our branding and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and audience engagement Work collaboratively with the Associate Art and Creative Directors to generate innovative concepts and compelling brand presentations. Innovate UI/UX designs for digital platforms, including websites and mobile applications, to deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences. Create dynamic logos and design elements across print and digital mediums. Partner with the marketing team to align graphics with strategic brand objectives. Uphold brand consistency across all creative materials and platforms. Generate digital content, including graphics for websites, interactive banners, Amazon A+ content, engaging PDP images, and social and display ad units. Design graphics for email marketing campaigns, contributing to our digital outreach. Create and edit motion graphics and videos, supporting projects from ideation to final production. Understanding digital specifications and best-in-class interactive experiences. Engage in comprehensive photo and video editing, overseeing projects to their completion. Stay at the forefront of design trends, implementing innovative practices to keep our brand competitive. Collaborate across teams to ensure designs are delivered on schedule. Assure the highest quality of all creative outputs. Engage in the visual aspect of marketing campaigns and digital presentations. Attending and supporting photoshoots and video shoots when needed. Continuously update knowledge on industry trends, strategies, and technologies. Articulate and present creative ideas, incorporating stakeholder feedback to refine creative direction. Mentor and guide other design team members, cultivating a creative, collaborative, and educational environment. Tackle complex design challenges autonomously, developing visual solutions from conceptual ideas to execution. Show eagerness to take on diverse projects and to grow expertise across various design disciplines. Other Functions: Proficiency in constructing and customizing within content management platforms such as Magento, WordPress, and Shopify, among others. Assist with the technical aspects of digital asset management, including organizing and maintaining a library of images, videos, and other media for use in digital designs. Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in digital design across all platforms. Work with the content team to optimize graphics for search engines and social media platforms. Support marketing initiatives by creating additional digital collateral, such as landing pages, lead generation forms, and online advertisements. Aid in analyzing user feedback and digital performance metrics to guide design improvements. Aid in the creation of wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes for new website features or redesigns. Liaise with IT and web development teams to ensure proper implementation of designs and troubleshoot any design-related issues on the website or other digital platforms. Act as a brand steward, ensuring that all digital designs align with and appropriately represent the brand's ethos and messaging. Participate in professional development opportunities and attend relevant conferences or workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in digital design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated digital marketing strategy. Occasionally contribute to the design and layout of print materials to ensure a seamless cross-media brand experience. Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital design Advanced proficiency in design software and technologies. Exceptional ability to communicate and collaborate effectively. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and UX/UI design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. Experience with motion graphics and video editing, demonstrating a keen eye for storytelling through visual media Skilled in photo editing and participating in photo and video shoots, with a good understanding of lighting and composition. Familiarity with web design principles and content management systems. Demonstrated experience in designing for various digital platforms, including social media, email marketing, and e-commerce (specifically Amazon A+ content). Knowledge of current digital design trends and the ability to apply these trends effectively in projects. Proven ability to manage and deliver projects on time, with a high standard of quality. Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate creative concepts and designs to stakeholders and team members. Experience mentoring or leading design team members and fostering a collaborative and educational work environment. Independent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle design challenges without supervision. A proactive attitude with the willingness to take on a variety of projects and learn new skills in a rapidly evolving field. Experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript is a plus, for a better understanding of web design constraints and capabilities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Creative agility and the ability to pivot based on stakeholder feedback and evolving project requirements. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Digital Media, Interaction Design, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in digital design within a collaborative fast-paced creative team environment. Relevant Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Oberseve/Identify: The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors. vendors. Operate: Write, type, and use the telephone, copier, and computer systems. Stationary position: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50- 75% of the time. Mobility: Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, and office machinery, attend meetings, etc. Communicate: Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Move/Transport: Ability to occasionally move boxes weighing up to 25 lbs. across the office for various needs with or without accommodations: Exposed: Standard climate-controlled office setting.
