Covia is seeking a creative and collaborative Digital Communications and Design Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Covia's corporate communications digital channels are managed effectively. This includes cross-channel content management, effective digital design and execution, and administration of the channels.
The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities: Manage communications content planning and coordinate execution across internal and external channels, including corporate social media, digital signage, our intranet, and CoviaCorp.com. Create content as needed, including copy and graphics for all corporate channels (e.g., writing articles for the intranet, creating social media posts, creating web banners, and working with PowerPoint). Lay out publications and presentations, film & edit videos. Work directly with subject matter experts and executives as needed to plan and execute tactics. Lead administration for digital channels, such as liaising with IT for user management, providing training/support for content contributors, and trouble-shooting content or user issues in conjunction with IT as needed. Serve as our resident expert in the features and capabilities of our channels and work with vendors to stay up to date. Monitor analytics to help identify content trends and opportunities. Monitor social media channels for posts that the company should respond to. Provide guidance to vendors in execution of specific deliverables (videos, blog posts, etc.) The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 3+ years of experience working in a corporate communications function. High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite to design for digital as well as print media. Excellent writing skills and a strong eye for design. Basic video editing and photography skills. Familiarity with web content management systems. Experience posting to and managing corporate social media accounts. Attention to detail, as well as the ability to step back and see how the pieces connect. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
