Responsibilities
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to all levels of technicians• Sign off on work of other technicians• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various vehicle systems• Engage with manufacturers and warranty contacts• Receive annual training from Navistar & Cummins• Perform work according to dealership and factory standards• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts• Save and tag parts if under warranty or requested by customer• Examine vehicles for additional safety or service work• Document all work performed and recommended
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience• State of Michigan HDT repair certifications• ASE certification preferred• Must comply with federal, state, and local regulations• Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner
Key Skills Needed
• Technical expertise in diesel vehicle repair• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot various vehicle systems
