Seeking an experienced Diesel Service Technician in the Bristol, PA area for a well-respected, multi-location Transportation Equipment Sales and Service company. Qualified applicants understand the importance of doing a job correctly and the value of satisfied customers. Regular duties include basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned transportation equipment in the shop and service locations.Diesel Technician Responsibilities:Performs basic diagnostics and both major and minor repairsPreforms electrical system repairsMaintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.Efficient worker able to deliver quality repairs in a timely fashion.Team player and people person who can communicate effectively with customers and team members.Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly manner.Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties.Diesel Technician Qualifications:Requirements:At least 3 years of dealership experienceIdeal candidate will have certifications and/or experience with all or most of these systems: Cummins, Paccar, Allison, EatonDirect experience with Peterbilt and/or KenworthElectrical diagnostics and computer-based diagnostics and repair is requiredRequired to possess PA semi-annual inspection licensePlease submit a resume for consideration.
