Responsibilities We are currently seeking a skilled Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team and contribute to the creation of compelling visual content for Mayo Foundation and its affiliates. In this role, you will play a vital part in producing a diverse range of materials, including proposals, presentations, physical displays, posters, and multimedia products. From image manipulation to physical assembly and stakeholder consultation, you will engage in various tasks that demand both meticulous attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities, all while upholding Mayo's esteemed Brand Identity Standards.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Development Creative Strategy + Design, Communications, Events, Stewardship and Recognition, Campaign Administration, and Annual Giving to develop impactful philanthropic materials. Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of typography, type design, color theory, and layout skills to deliver visually stunning content. Demonstrate proficiency in photographic and computer imaging techniques, leveraging Unit-specific hardware and software effectively. Apply your expertise in the printing process and assembly to produce high-quality proposals and event invitations Development Creative Strategy + Design: Lead the creation and assembly of priority quick-turn print items. Collaborate with design teams to refine visual concepts for print materials. Communications: Manage Templafy platform and ensure brand-aligned deliverables. Monitor and replenish stock of print resources. Format digital content into preferred templates for print requests. Events: Produce save-the-date cards and invitations for benefactor engagements. Create menu cards for campus dinners and pinch books for benefactor engagements. Stewardship & Recognition: Provide on-site assistance for gift presentations at benefactor events. Oversee wrapping and presentation of gifts for the Executive Office. Executive Leadership Engagement: Coordinate logistics and stock of Executive Office print resources. Assume ownership of autopen needs and coordination of Executive Office gifts. Campaign Administration: Communicate print inventory with appropriate team members to ensure efficient operations. To assist with the design, production and creation of visual materials for Mayo Foundation and Mayo affiliates in a variety of mediums, which may or may not include: books, magazines, brochures, physical displays, posters and electronic mediums including web design, electronic presentations, and multimedia products. The Production Designer performs and assists in: image manipulation, file preparation, information layout, physical assembly, and direct customer consultation in addition to their normal production activities. Some tasks will be routine and pre-defined, others more open to creative problem solving within Mayo's Brand Identity Standards.
This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. Qualifications Two-year degree in Graphic Design or related field. Two-year minimum employment in a graphics-related field required. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of typography, type design, form and color theory, proportion and balance, photographic and computer imaging techniques and layout skills. Candidate must be proficient with Unit-specific hardware and software programs. Portfolio review will be required. Candidates must be flexible, resourceful, and possess strong interpersonal skills while effectively meeting deadlines under pressure. The ability to contribute effectively in a team environment and build rapport with colleagues and clients is critical. Candidates must also be able work independently, communicate clearly and concisely, and demonstrate excellent problem solving skills. He/she must demonstrate an understanding of publishing technologies which may or may not include prepress, printing, multimedia and web publishing. Close attention to detail and follow-through are very important.

$25.47 - $34.41/hour. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Benefits Eligible
