We are looking for a Developer Advocate focused on the security community to join JFrog's Developer Relations team. In this role, you will act as the voice of our R&D, Product, Security, and Architecture team, connecting JFrog's innovation with the larger community. You will also act as the liaison for our community and effectively deliver feedback to the JFrog technical and business teams. You are about to become a rockstar and an influencer, online and in real life, as you take center stage and act as the voice of JFrog. People in the security community will want to hear what you have to share, and people at JFrog will take your feedback to heart and apply it to the company's products.
As a Developer Advocate in JFrog you will... Get the message out by speaking at security conferences, meetups, and webinarsCreate content for various channels including blogs, screencasts, social media posts, and generally, as we say here at JFrog, "ribbiting"Work closely with the JFrog R&D, Architecture, Security, Solutions, and Technical Customer Support teams to understand JFrog's technology and provide feedbackFind new channels to engage with the security communityWork with the global Marketing team to help build effective messaging and amplify our messageMonitor, measure, and manage your success through:Developer relations activitiesSocial media activitiesJFrog's OSS initiativesTravel! Public health policies permitting, this role will include frequent global travelTo be a Developer Advocate in JFrog you need...Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline5 years experience as a Security Researcher, Software Developer, or EngineerProven track record as a successful presenter and technical speakerStrong writing and presentation skills regarding technical topicsExcellent interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with the security community through attending meetups, technical events, and conferencesAnalytical mindset and the ability to set goals, execute plans, and measure the resultsDeep understanding of the developer ecosystem, especially in the security sceneAbility to express complex concepts in a compelling way that will resonate with security professionalsAbility to understand different security personas and engage with pretty much anyoneWHAT JFROG CAN OFFER… At JFrog, base salary is only one component of our compensation package.This position has a base salary range between $170,000 to $190,000. Base salary will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.This position also includes an equity package of restricted stock units (RSU).
