Responsibilities
• Prepare investigative reports and communicate with inmates• Physically intervene in fights and emergencies• Read and comprehend legal documents and prepare reports• Process data and perform basic computer tasks• Detect and collect evidence and provide information to citizens• Supervise inmate population and maintain facility cleanliness• Transport inmates and classify/house them• Conduct searches, patrols, and headcounts• Perform crisis intervention and exercise independent judgment• Perform various other duties as necessary
Requirements
• Minimum age of 21 and high school diploma or GED• Valid driver's license• Completion of multiple selection process steps• Availability for shift work, including weekends and holidays
