Deskside Support Technician

Our client, a multinational Pharmaceutical Company, is seeking a Deskside Support Technician who will be providing desktop solutions support to resolve end user technical issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain customer satisfaction. Install, troubleshoot, & maintain a wide variety of equipment & applications. Work as part of a cross-functional IT Infrastructure team. Customers are onsite & remote end users. 

Accountabilities: Provide responsive support for end users with deskside & walk up support issues for PCs, network printers, video conference equipment, & other local IT hardware & software packages.
Use remote management to assist end users who are working offsite.
Imaging of new PCs & clients for back office & manufacturing system use.
Set up & support of cellular devices for end users.
Inventory control of patch cables, video cables, peripherals & other IT items.
Assist in ordering & receiving equipment, as required.
Comply with internal & external regulations & procedures.
Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
Other accountabilities, as assigned
Education: AA/AS/AAS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. 

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of IT experience, preferably in a customer facing role.

Required Technical/Process/Functional Experience: 1. pxe boot windows imaging.

2. Desktop support experience hardware and software - personal and remote

3. Networking components, servers, VMs, Lab machines. (Dell)

4. WiFi/setup connections

5. Cisco/LogiTech conference room setup/maintenance

6. Patching in IDF and Data Center connections

7. Apple support (preferably via AirWatch)

THIS IS A PURELY ONSITE position. W ork hours 9am -5 pm, Monday through Friday. Some OT may be required from time to time.
