Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Creo Designer to join our team!
Responsibilities Utilize Creo to prepare design layouts on complex units and mechanisms for the Defense Industry Make design computations as required Prepare general specifications, such as bills of materials Work with layout drafters and detailers to achieve a completed design Develop creative drawings from design objectives established by others Use manual or computer skills to complete design drawings Meet all customer requirements Training in CREO is offered if the candidate has no prior experience * Qualifications 2+ years experience in Product Design using Creo or Pro-E software Demonstrated work history using a sketch-based CAD software Experience in modeling from assembly drawings/packages Sheet Metal and/or structural design experience Solid Modeling and assembly design experience Analytical ability to recognize and solve design and mechanical problems Oral and written communication skills Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads Availability to work between 40 to 60 hours per week based on project demands Only United States Citizens can be considered Must Possess or be able to obtain a security clearance Preferred Qualifications Associates in Vehicle Design or Product Development Familiarity with Teamcenter or Vismockup is a plus Vehicle Component Mechanical Design Powertrain, Chassis, or Body Design Electrical Design – Routing & Packaging Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Vacation and Holiday pay Employer matching 401K Hybrid work schedule after 90 days for eligible positions Tuition Reimbursement Flexible Spending Programs (FSAs) Short-Term & Long-Term Disability insurance Employee Referral Program Additional Voluntary Benefit Programs Off-site company events & Employee Luncheons Who are we?
