The Davis County Sheriff's Office operates 24 hours per day 7 days per week, this position may require working weekends, holidays and rotating shifts. Assignments for this position are based on need and may include: Corrections, Investigations, Patrol. These position pay $29.26 - $45.19 hourly depending on experience along with the following benefits:

Physical fitness testing requirement are: 21 pushups no time limit 29 sit ups in 1 minute or less (substitute for sit ups is high plank for 1.5 minutes)13 inch vertical jump(3 attempts)1.5 mile run in 16 minutes or less. QUALIFICATIONS FOR DEPUTY At least 21 years old for LEO(Law Enforcement Officer) At least 19 years old for SFO(Special Functions Officer) and/or BCO(Basic Correctional Officer. High school diploma or equivalent Must be either a United States citizen; or a lawful resident of the United States who has been in the United States legally for at least five years; and has legal authorization to work in the United States.
