AECOM is seeking a Deputy Project Manager for the Arlington, VA office.The ideal candidate will have experience with environmental investigation and remediation.This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
• Manages one or more moderately complex projects• Supports planning and executing projects for the DoD in the areas of environmental compliance and/or cleanup• Performs environmental regulatory research and analysis• Develops and implements environmental solutions and best management practices• Interfaces with clients to identify technical requirements• Writes work planning documents and technical reports• Leads and performs field work including sampling and data collection• Participates in project tasks with teams of scientists and technicians• Analyzes data sets, draws conclusions, and develops risk management recommendations• Manages personal workloads and meets required schedules while producing quality work
Requirements
• BA/BS from an accredited university in environmental management, chemistry, geology, or related science field and 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency• Valid U.S. Driver's License• US Citizenship is required• Preferred experience: 6+ years of relevant experience• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor• Demonstrated familiarity with federal environmental laws and regulations• Excellent oral communication and writing skills• Demonstrated experience developing and revising Conceptual Site Models, UFP-QAPPs, Remedial Investigation reports, Feasibility Study reports, Proposed Plans, and Decision Documents
