Adecco is assisting a client in recruiting for an Department Administrator in Oceanside, CA. Here is your chance to be creative in finding solutions for this temp opportunity.
The duties of the Department Administrator include:
Create and update EHS records and databases.
Assist in coordinating office tasks that are EHS specific and simple safety tasks to help secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.).
Schedule events and book in house meeting rooms.
Update EHS policies and charts as needed.
Answers the telephone, directs calls, and takes messages.
Writes reports and correspondence.
Makes sure equipment is in working order.
First aid kits and fire extinguishers monthly checks.
Writes and distributes meeting agendas.
Attends meetings and takes detailed notes
Provides front desk coverage as needed.
Supports event planning for EHS meetings and other departmental initiatives.
Performs other related duties as needed.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:? 
2 years' related administrative or EHS experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
Must be proficient in the use of common computer applications and software such as programs within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc), well-versed in data entry, report compilation, and answering virtual correspondence using different software applications.
Manufacturing working environment, a plus.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $30.00 per hour
