Mondays Only Rye Smiles for Life currently looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team at our office located in Fairfax, Virginia 22030. This position is working Mondays only.
At Rye Smiles, w e take pride in the fact that we have the most up to date equipment, such as a CBCT machine for full head x-rays, newer technology to assist our patients with TMJ treatment, and we've recently started using the Dandy program which takes a digital impression for crowns, onlays, and implants of the like to create a better tooth.
For our hygiene department, we use Laser Bacterial Reduction, and Oral ID to detect mouth cancers. It's important to our hygienists to have sufficient time to provide quality care to their patients so our hygiene appointments are generally 1 hour long.

Our office is in a great location that's easily accessible with plenty of free parking in our private parking lot or there are plenty of other ways to get to and from work at our location. We're conveniently located off a side street of Rt 50, Rt 66 is two lights away, and Rt 123 and 236 are in a half mile radius. We are close to a number of restaurants, including Panera, Hangry Joes, Cava, Poke Hub, Chipotle, Burger King, McDonalds, plus we are only 15 minutes away from the Fair Oaks Shopping Mall.

Essential Responsibilities
Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work. Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
