Responsibilities
• Clean teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease• Educate patients on oral hygiene• Take and develop x rays• Apply fluoride or sealants• Deliver periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services• Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education• Patient screening, medical history, and dental charting• Application of fluoride and protective sealants• Removal of calculus, stain, and plaque• Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs
Requirements
• Active Hygiene license for the state of VA• Strong verbal and written communication skills
