Factoria Family Dentistry is a Doctor Owned, modern dental Office in Bellevue with state of the art equipment.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated dental team in Washington. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. If you are passionate about helping others achieve optimal dental hygiene, possess excellent communication skills, and are committed to continuous learning, we want to hear from you! We are looking for applicants that have the following qualifications:
Great Attitude. Must have integrity and be dependable. Must have great costumer service skills. Be professional in appearance, behavior and communication. - Must be able to communicate professionally and get along well with coworkers. Willing to learn and able to follow a training manual.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality care and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, emphasizing the importance of regular dental check-ups and preventive care.
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as required for dental procedures, adhering to state regulations and maintaining patient comfort.
- Take digital dental x-rays and intraoral images, accurately documenting findings in patient records.
- Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in assessing and treating gum disease.
- Perform oral cancer screenings and assist in identifying abnormalities or signs of oral health issues.
- Provide personalized treatment plans, offering recommendations for preventive measures and necessary dental procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and coordinate appointments effectively.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols, following OSHA and CDC guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Stay updated with the latest dental advancements, techniques, and regulations through continuous education and professional development.
Requirements:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of Washington.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, procedures, and terminology.
- Proficient in using dental software and digital imaging systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Strong ethics and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs.
