Responsibilities
• Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees• Monitors staffing levels and implements training systems• Identifies and develops internal candidates for management positions• Ensures execution of 'My Promise to You' and Service Profit Chain• Maintains restaurant environment that is employee friendly, fun, clean, and safe• Motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance• Responds to guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner• Utilizes management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance• Focuses on increasing restaurant sales and profitability• Considers cost/benefit impact of financial decisions and protects the Denny's brand
Requirements
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred)• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an Associate Manager/2 years as First Assistant Manager (Internal Promote)• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility (External Recruit)• Must complete Restaurant Manager training classes; must be ServSafe certified• Proficient in English; strong interpersonal, math, analytical, organization, and planning skills• Must possess a valid driver's license• Ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift; ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs• Must be at least 18 years old
