Our client is looking for a Demand Planner to support forecasting on their exciting food and lobby demand team! You will have the opportunity to drive the demand shaping process, integrate with finance, and help the organization focus on demand driven planning. This role will support their morning prepared food demand planner (breakfast sandwiches, pastries, egg bites, etc.) as they assist in food innovation work.
Demand Planner Responsibilities: Own the forecasting process incorporating statistical models, business strategies and emerging trends to drive an accurate demand plan. Work cross-functionally to influence product launches, demand shaping opportunities, and drive demand plan consensus that align with business strategies and objectives. Seek continuous improvement opportunities to drive forecast accuracy improvements. Traditional demand planning forecasting. Work closely with the financial team, frequently attending financial planning meetings. Demand Planner Qualifications: 3 years demand planning experience. 1 year of experience in the food/beverage industry preferred. Strong Excel skills, experience in Tableau/Oracle/Logility a plus. Data mining/extracting experience preferred. Ability to understand analytical work and present it in a digestible way. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills required.
