Job Title: Budtender - Delivery Driver
Reports to: Store Assistant Manager (SAM)
Job Summary: The Herbal Connection - one of Lane County's largest dispensaries is looking for a Delivery Driver! Are you a team player? Are you self-motivated? Delivery Drivers deliver cannabis products that have been ordered by customers and patients using online ordering system to be able to deliver and fulfill orders in the Eugene/Springfield area. xGreet and provide excellent customer service to customers delivering to their destination as well as check government issued identification to confirm customers are of legal age to purchase and receive cannabis.
*** A delivery may be made only to a residence such as a house or apartment. Deliveries may not be made to dormitories, hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, or other similar commercial businesses.*** .
Schedule will vary
** PART TIME UP TO 40 HRS **
Hours will be delegated for delivery staff; deliveries will be operated between the hours of 8:00 am - 9:00 pm split between morning and evening shifts.
Duties/Responsibilities: Process and deliver customer orders using order fulfillment application. Verify identity, take cash payments, make an accurate change, capture signatures and other related customer information. Provide exceptional customer service by phone, text and most importantly at the time of delivery. Develop and maintain rapport with our customers, partners, and staff. Ensure customers' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently. Communicate customer requests and/or problems to a manager when needed. Obey all traffic laws and operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust, loyalty, and respect. Maintain the strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines to ensure the protection of both the individual and business assets. Perform other related work as required by maintaining Budtender role when not doing deliveries. Maintain knowledge of strains, products, consumption methods, and cannabis culture. Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant. Have knowledge of all current product and maintain the menu accurately. Follow state regulations and established policies and procedures. Provide outstanding customer service with compassionate and professional representation. Follow company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Available to work varied hours/days, including late shift, weekends and holidays. Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to have attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Effective communication skills Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress, and busy foot traffic Education and Experience: Must have at least 1 year Budtending experience High school diploma or equivalent required OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit 1 year Customer Service experience Physical Requirements: Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching Close visual focus required This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
