Deisel Service Technician

OverviewLilley International of Gates, NC is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team! Reporting to the Service Manager, the Diesel Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of the trucks or equipment in the shop or field environment, while maintaining an acceptable level of productivity.Company Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5:30pm and Friday 7:30am-4pmBenefits (1 yr. waiting period for 401k | 60-day waiting period for all other benefits)401(k) with 2% matchingHealth InsuranceDisability InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid time offEmployee DiscountUniforms ProvidedResponsibilitiesIncludes, but is not limited to,• Install, replace, re-build or repair the parts and/or equipment in a timely manner and accordingto specifications.• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs topromptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns.Keep a clean and organized work areaAdhere to safety protocols, including the use of PPECandidate KnowledgeMechanical knowledge: 3 years (Required)Basic automotive systems, hydraulic systems and off-road equipment and componentsMust have computer experience including Microsoft Office, email, and internetCDL B (Preferred)Must have a valid driver's license and transportation – Class A (Preferred)Cummins engine experience (Preferred)Allison transmission experience (Preferred)
