LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Program Manager at our headquarters office in Tysons, VA. The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in project execution, leadership, critical thinking, relationship management, and business growth while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. The Sr. PM will be responsible for offering subject matter expertise at the strategic, operational and tactical levels. Directs and supervises all phases of ordered programs/projects, from inception through completion. Participates in the negotiation of orders and modifications to orders. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to task plans and deliverable items, and to ensure conformance with the Government's allotted schedules and costs. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program/project from technical and administrative areas. Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Provides domain expertise and technical knowledge consulting. Directs and controls activities for a client, providing overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Manage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution. Fosters positive working relationships with team, client personnel and leadership counterparts. Prepares monthly cost reports and ensures such deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion and of high quality/accuracy. When appropriate, proposes a plan to correct any cost variances or projected rate adjustments. Prepares briefing charts, schedule meetings, keeps records and record minutes, prepare after-action reports in support of technical reviews. Ensures program compliance with government and corporate policies and mandates, and adherence to directives from governing entities. Supports business development and bid and proposal efforts for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define solutions that exceed client expectations. Required Skills More than 10 years of relevant experience. Master's degree required; PhD degree may substitute 2 years of experience. Strong program management financial acumen Demonstrated experience, with proven successes, in aggressive growth strategy for program portfolio Must be able to maintain a DoD SECRET Clearance  Experience with DoD logistics, supply chain management, transportation and acquisition logistics policy, procedures and processes at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. Superior communication skills, both oral and written. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Self-motivated and mission driven to achieve client and corporate goals and objectives Prior experience running projects of at least $10M in annual revenue covering multiple functional disciplines. Desired Skills PMP Certification or other equivalent certifications. Other skills specific to the contract include an ability to oversee of technical and non-technical personnel, creatively solve problems, and clarify the technical details of technical tasks to non-technical government clients.
