Data Solutions Engineer

The Data Solutions Engineer will play a foundational role in evaluating, improving, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support efficient and scalable data processing in a multi-state manufacturing company. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, including other data team members and business stakeholders, to ensure our data systems drive the business forward, have high availability, and are end-user friendly.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or quantitative/analytical fields or equivalent training and experience is required. Four to five years of experience in data engineering, data science, data analytics, or other related roles. Experience in relational database concepts with a solid knowledge of SQL, Python, DAX, data warehousing, and SCD2 implementation techniques.
Demonstrated success in generating and maintaining data pipelines from various data sources in collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrable experience/knowledge working with Azure, S3, DBT, Snowflake, Fabric, and ETL Tools, SSIS, SASS tabular, etc. Proven track record of experience with best practices for development, including query optimization, version control, code reviews, and documentation. Demonstrated knowledge of data structures. Curiosity and passion to learn with a strong bias to action. Highly effective problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data-related issues. Demonstrably effective interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
