About Your Team:
We seek a Data Scientist to develop, maintain, and enhance quantitative models for anomalous activity detection and AML surveillance.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR: 
Help design, calibrate and enhance the firm's AML and financial crime-related surveillance reports.
Identify patterns of potentially suspicious activity through a review of client data.
Apply statistical analysis to calibrate the firm's surveillance alerts to more accurately identify potentially suspicious activity for review by AML analysts.
Refine business requirements and develop programming specifications from them.

Which skills are required:
Experience with AML and BSA regulations
Master's or PhD in Statistics or a Quantitative Field
Python programming experience 
Demonstrated ability to work independently
5+ years of hands-on experience with AML or financial transaction modeling
Knowledge of financial markets, preferably in cashiering surveillance
Understanding of databases and SQL
