The Data Science Developer role for the Data Services team is primarily responsible for the architecture, development and support of systems related to data science and machine learning. This individual may at times be responsible for the design, coding, testing, deployment and documentation of various data science tools, models and processes. Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills are critical to successful performance in this role.

ResponsibilitiesThe candidate can expect to:
Act as a data science expert, collaborating with data scientists and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needsEvaluate, select, implement, administer, and support an enterprise data science toolkit, ensuring that systems are reliable, scalable, and maintainableBuild consensus around standards and best practices while ensuring alignment with enterprise principlesUse statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze data and develop predictive modelsCommunicate insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesDevelop and deploy processes to automate data ingestion and preparation, model training and predictions, and data deliveryMonitor the performance of machine learning models and make improvements as neededResearch and pilot tools to enhance Artisan's ability to deliver data science solutionsProvide ongoing support and assistance with existing platforms and projectsComplete special assignments as neededQualificationsThe successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
