Data Processing Specialist I The University of Alabama at Birmingham The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is actively seeking qualified candidates for the Data Processing Specialist I position. Under minimal supervision, uses a variety of software packages to provide advanced word processing and desktop publishing services to a department. Enters data into a computer, generates reports and tables from input data, and creates and maintains database files. May handle phone calls from study participants and enter information into a database. May handle test administrations for students. May install software packages and train other office personnel in their use. Knowledge of Microsoft products and Office 365 is necessary, as is the ability to keep a calendar and manage time wisely. Ability to work under tight deadlines and perform other duties as assigned is also essential.
Annual Salary: $15.00-23.55 (salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience) Qualifications
