Looking for Data Modelers not Data Engineers. Please only apply if you are a Data Modeler.
Description:
Collaborate with stakeholder group to deliver on their data governance and automation agenda (includes significant requirements gathering + process design components).
Build well-managed data solutions to enable self-service frameworks for stakeholders.
Build Data Models
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills. Able to (and understands the criticality of being able to) tailor explanations to audiences at various levels of seniority and technical familiarity.
Excellent query-writing skills. Proficient with database basics, joins, subqueries, aggregations, window functions, data modeling best practices, etc.
Proficient with leveraging BI tools (Tableau, specifically, is a plus) for reporting. Familiar with the process of fitting the right data visualization to a business problem / research question.
Experience working in an Agile environment. Familiar with the basic sprint ceremonies, breaking efforts into pointed user stories, managing stakeholder expectations throughout a sprint and leveraging Jira for tracking work.
This team's tech stack includes Tableau, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Databricks (Python + SQL), AWS S3 and ThoughtSpot.
