Job Summary: This position is currently remote with occasional in-person meetings in Frankfort, KY.
The Institute for Biomedical Informatics is seeking a Data Management Specialist to join the team. This position is located in Frankfort, Kentucky, and will be working on the Department of Medicaid Services contract with the State of Kentucky.
This position will develop efficient and reusable SQL code meant for improvement, manipulation, and analysis of data. Performs data conversions from several data sources, writes code, identifies relevant trends, prepares reports & visualizations, and develops dashboards. This person in this position will work alongside senior database analysts and statisticians to analyze data. This position will also contribute to publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Development and management skills. Working knowledge of Tableau, T- SQL and PL/ SQL . Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Knowledge and experience in a health care environment.
