Data Collection Specialist Job Description: Greene Resources is hiring Data Collection Specialists (DCS) for a top research institution in the world. Responsibilities: Contact medical providers via telephone to collect medical record-based data.
Perform data entry tasks in a fast-paced, goal-oriented production environment.
Navigate an electronic case management system while on the telephone.
Identify points of contact for medical providers and clearly communicate the importance of project participation.
Send and confirm patient authorization forms before collecting data.
Conduct all data collection tasks according to approved research protocols.
Identify and communicate barriers to achieving goals with appropriate supervisors and try to apply new solutions to gain cooperation.
Review and process a high volume of records efficiently and effectively.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors and co-workers.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Desired Background/Skills: Excellent computer skills and experience maneuvering between multiple programs/systems.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Qualifications: One to two years of customer service experience or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
Experience working in a professional, office environment is strongly preferred
Proven telephone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to interact comfortably and professionally with a variety of people, including on the telephone. Employees must have the ability to maintain a consistent level of professionalism in all areas of employment.
Ability to engage and persuade stakeholders successfully on the telephone.
Strong attention to detail
Effective time management and ability to work independently as required.
On-site work is required each day for the first 10 weeks of employment. Hybrid work is available after this 10-week period to those who meet and maintain performance and attendance metrics. Hybrid work will consist of 3 days on-site (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 2 days from home (Tuesday, Thursday) each week, subject to change based on staff performance and/or project need.

Pay: $18 per hour with weekly pay
