NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a "Data Center Ops Senior Associate" to join our team in "US".The Data Center Team is responsible for overall Data Center Management for both the Florence, KY and Cincinnati, OH locations, including Infrastructure and Operations for a multitude of clients across the globe. This position will be three permanent 12 hour shifts with a rotating Saturday.**This is an overnight shift. The shift will be Sun, Mon, Tue, and every other Sat from 7P to 7A and will be on-site in Florence, KY with no remote option.Daily work will consist of any or all of the following primary duties:Data Center's Single point of contact for incoming calls and group emailRespond to alarms in timely manner and update tickets as requiredInteracts with multiple ticketing systems to organize the teams daily Change Board and workflowVerifies that all visitors to the Data Center floor meet NTT's Access RequirementsEscorts vendors to the Data Center FloorShipping, Receiving and Inventory ManagementBackup Tape HandlingBasic hardware supportOther duties as directed that support world class management of the Data CenterIntermediate hardware (break/fix), troubleshooting connectivity issues and replacement of hardware componentsInstallation / De-installation of hardware, cabling and maintaining of databaseFull Time Position in a Dynamic 24x7x365 organization.Shift will include 12 hours, 3 days per week then 4 days a week following.This position will include rotating weekends and holidays.Basic Qualifications1+ years of experience in an IT roleAdditional skillsPositive attitudeFlexibility and team orientedAbility to conduct clear and effective two-way communication, verbal and electronic, with team members, vendors, and customers (Internal and External)Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to type at least 25 wpmAbility to work effectively with minimal supervisionTechnical experience, technical aptitude, or A+ CertificationCisco Monitoring ToolsSolid time-management and organizational skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Detail orientedTime managementAbout NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
