As a Data Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and managing data storage, consumption, integration, and management for various data entities and IT systems. You'll have the opportunity to design new architectures and enhance existing ones, including data structures and database code, while also contributing to the development of relational databases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement database objects, schemas, tables, indexes, and more, based on system requirements.
Develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluate hardware/software platforms, and integrate systems to meet business needs.
Manage data from various sources, develop ETL processes, and create database reporting and data flow diagrams.
Optimize queries and stored procedures to enhance database performance.
Review and develop object and data models for improved data management and accessibility.
Provide guidance and support to technical team members, including system architects, developers, and database administrators.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active secret clearance is preferred, or the ability to qualify/hold a secret clearance.
Must be located in the DC/MD/VA metro area.
12+ years of experience in software development.
10+ years of professional experience in database architecture.
Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and data integration.
Proficiency in data profiling, migration, backup integrity, and disaster recovery.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
