Description The Data and Reporting Professional 2 generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Data and Reporting Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities The Data and Reporting Professional 2:
+ Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements
+ Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources
+ May create specifications for reports based on business requests
+ Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
+ Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed
+ Follows established guidelines/procedures

Required Qualifications + 2 or more years of technical experience in data reporting
+ Intermediate and/or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
+ Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree
+ Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
+ 1 or more years of experience in SQL , SAS , QlikView and Tableau
+ In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, and graphs
+ Experience in managed care or health care sector
+ Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment

Work at Home Guidance To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

+ Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense
+ Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job
+ Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Interview Format As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by Modern Hire, a third-party vendor. This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making.

Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$59,100 – $81,450 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
