Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.Responsibilities:Serving as adata scientist to help evaluate Generative AI applications for compliance with fair lending regulationsin the Office of Fair Lending and Privacy, Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM).Developing methodologies to evaluate test and evaluate generative AI applications for compliance with fair lending regulations.Assisting in the development and administration of Compliance training related to evaluation of generative AI applications for the supportedfunction/business/product.Researching any new reform rules and rule changes and implementing policies, procedures, or other controls necessary to comply with the rules related to generative AI algorithms.Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.Contributing to data analytics standards around which others will operate.Applying in-depth understanding of how data analytics collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function.Employing developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.Resolving occasionally complex and highly variable issues.Producing detailed analysis of issues where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended/ taken.Responsible for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of data science projects along with short-term planning resource planning.Assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.Qualifications:6-10 years experience using codes for statistical modeling of large data sets preferredIn-depth knowledge and understanding and demonstrated experience working with: LLM's and other AI/ML model development or validation.Model development experience required, preferably with AI/ML methods in finance or bankingExperience working in the explainable AI/ML fieldKnowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks andtypologiesStrong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organizationExpertise and hands-on experience in advance programming using one of/multiple: SAS / R, Python and SQL for basic data miningExperience and knowledge of Big Data tools preferred.Education:Bachelor's/University degreein Information Systems, Business Analysis / Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statisticsor equivalent experienceMasters degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Data Analytics------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Tampa Florida United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$113,840.00 - $170,760.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
