The Data Analyst will be responsible for employing advanced data mining, visualization, and analysis techniques, alongside computational programming skills, to extract actionable insights from vast datasets. Collaborating with diverse teams including business, operations, technology, data engineering, and management, you'll play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions and driving data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with product and business owners, operations teams, technology experts, data engineers, and platform teams to understand business requirements, data availability, and potential use cases. Implement new statistical modeling techniques to enhance operational efficiency and productivity within the organization. Utilize descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to deliver actionable business insights and solutions, integrating data and statistical models effectively. Apply industry best practices in research, development, deployment, and maintenance of analytical solutions to improve operational processes. Design and develop modeling applications to support process improvement, automation, risk assessment, decision-making, and overall business performance enhancement. Create visually compelling data visualizations, technical documentation, and presentation materials to communicate complex ideas and solutions to stakeholders effectively. Identify and address business needs for analytic support, testing activities, and quantitative analysis, monitoring and reporting on analytic activities as required. Translate data findings and outputs into actionable recommendations for customers, business partners, and key stakeholders. Qualifications: Master's degree in a quantitative field is highly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis roles. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL. Experience working with large and complex datasets, applying statistical models, and conducting data analysis. Ability to translate business questions into analytical plans and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Genuine interest in leveraging data to support operations and technology initiatives. Proficiency in creating graphical representations of data using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI. This remote position requires the ability to work effectively from a home office, even in an environment with moderate background noise.
