Position Overview: Data Analyst
Are you passionate about unlocking insights from data? Join us as a Data Analyst where you'll leverage advanced data mining, visualization, and analysis techniques, coupled with your computational programming skills, to derive actionable insights from vast datasets. Working closely with cross-functional teams including business, operations, technology, data engineering, and management, you'll be instrumental in crafting innovative solutions and fostering data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with product and business owners, operations teams, technology experts, data engineers, and platform teams to grasp business requirements, data availability, and potential use cases.
- Introduce cutting-edge statistical modeling techniques to enhance operational efficiency and productivity organization-wide.
- Harness descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to deliver actionable business insights and solutions, seamlessly integrating data and statistical models.
- Implement industry best practices in researching, developing, deploying, and maintaining analytical solutions to streamline operational processes.
- Design and deploy modeling applications supporting process improvement, automation, risk assessment, decision-making, and overall business performance enhancement.
- Develop visually captivating data visualizations, technical documentation, and presentation materials to effectively communicate complex ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
- Identify and fulfill business needs for analytic support, testing activities, and quantitative analysis, while monitoring and reporting on analytic activities as required.
- Translate data findings and outputs into actionable recommendations for customers, business partners, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets, applying statistical models, and conducting data analysis.
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical plans and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Genuine interest in leveraging data to support operations and technology initiatives.
- Proficiency in creating graphical representations of data using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
Additional Details:
This is a remote position, requiring effective work from a home office, even in environments with moderate background noise.
