Cycle Counter II Location Houston, TX : AS A CYCLE COUNTER YOU WILL: Act as an advocate for the organization by conducting weekly inventory control audits. Ensure that all items counted are in their correct location and stored in a manner that allows the items to be identified and counted correctly Check items during the normal cycle counting activities for physical deterioration and notify supervisors of issues Fill out daily activity reports and maintain all required records related to cycle counts Perform recount on items with variances outside of tolerance levels Determine the cause of inventory record errors and assist in establishing procedures to correct the problem areas Comply with warehouse regulations and/or procedures Perform other duties or special projects, as assigned WHO YOU ARE: You display a can-do attitude in good and bad times. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: High School diploma or equivalent. Able to accurately read, write and perform computer data entry of detailed numbering schemes. Working knowledge of Oracle database or similar (preferable not required). Must have applicable stand-up/sit-down forklift experience and be able to pass a basic pre-employment forklift skills test. Minimum 0-2 years distribution experience and/or in a manufacturing environment (preferable not required). Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds repeatedly.
